Q: Hi Steve, I’ve been told that it is important to use the same brand or same line of products when choosing daily floor cleaning products and floor strippers to avoid chemicals interacting improperly. Is this true? Several highly-publicized recent outbreaks of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in schools have ignited a rush for systems and products that will protect children from this "superbug" infection. It’s a scenario that is repeated thousands of times every day in schools across the country: germs are transferred from one student to another when they touch a common surface such as a door handle, desktop or the hand towel dispenser in the washroom.
