For over 60 years, STOKO Skin Care has been a leading developer and provider of skin care and hygiene products and programs for the away from home markets. Our expertise in skin care dates back to 1935 when STOKO (called Stockhausen then) developed “syndets” or synthetic detergents which revolutionized the soap industry. This invention proved superior to traditional soaps providing more cleaning power but with less skin irritation. STOKO Skin Care continued its innovative path by developing an all encompassing 3-point occupational skin care program. The products were formulated based on extensive research on skin health combined with advanced technologies. Because proper skin care is more than getting skin clean, it’s about keeping it healthy and resilient, STOKO’s research and development team work diligently to create and maintain the quality that delivers results. The total program includes: Before Work skin protection creams; During Work skin compatible cleansers, and After Work conditioning and skin recovery creams. STOKO’s reputation for quality products that work has catapulted the company into many markets and STOKO products are now found in workplaces, schools, industry, gyms, sports complexes, and a multitude of public facilities. STOKO Skin Care’s manufacturing facility also adheres to stringent environmental standards and was awarded and recognized as a Rising Environmental Steward by the North Carolina Dept of Environmental and Natural Resources. Further to this we meet the EPA and California Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Guidelines; meet guidelines and are partners with the American Chemistry Council Technical Specifications for Responsible Care®; are certified ISO 14001: 2004 and ISO 9001: 2000. We use Recycable Packaging; have Solvent Free Formulas and use walnut shell scrubbers that are natural and renewable. Today, STOKO Skin Care operates globally with manufacturing and distribution locations around the world.
