Healthy Schools Campaign

Healthy Schools Campaign is the leading authority on healthy school environments and a voice for people who care about our environment, our children and education. Our mission is to advocate for policies and model programs that allow students and staff members to learn and work in a healthy school environment.

Recognizing the connection between a clean environment, healthy children and better education, we address the problems of asthma and obesity by promoting school based programs, practices and policies such as green cleaning, healthy school design, healthy school food choices and nutrition education. We work with a broad network of individuals and organizations that includes parents, teachers, school administrators, students, public health and education advocates, policymakers and community leaders. Our taskforces and committees engage hundreds of individuals representing a wide variety of organizations in HSC-led activities.

Working with the Healthy Schools Campaign to promote School Wellness demonstrates a commitment to improving the health of young people. We act as a resource to business and industry, government agencies, school districts, trade unions and other groups who share a commitment to a clean environment, healthy children and better education.
